SST: SLIP STITCH
DC: DOUBLE CROCHET
CH:CHAIN

PATTERN

CH 79 WITH WHITE YARN

ROW 1: DC IN THE 3RD CH FROM THE HOOK, DC IN THE NEXT 11 CH, 5DC CLUSTER IN THE 13TH CH , DC IN THE NEXT 15 STITCHES, 5DC CLUSTER IN THE NEXT CH, DC IN NEXT 20 STS, 5DC CLUSTER IN THE NEXT  CH, DC IN NEXT 15 STS,5DC CLUSTER IN THE NEXT CH , DC IN THE REMAINING STITCHES. TURN.
ROW2: CH2, DC IN ALL DC TILL THE 5DC CLUSTER, MAKE A 5DC CLUSTER IN EACH OF THE 3RD DC OF PREVIOUS ROW CLUSTER, REPEAT OVER EACH CLUSTER, TURN.
ROW3-6: CONTINUE ROW2 BY TAKING 5DC CLUSTER IN 3RD DC OF EACH CLUSTER AND DC IN EACH DC, TURN.

ROW 7: CH2 , DC TILL THE 3RD DC OF FIRST CLUSTER, THEN DC IN THE 3RD DC OF THE NEXT 5DC CLUSTER, DC IN THE NEXT ALL DC TILL THE 3RD DC OF NEXT 5DC CLUSTER, THEN DC IN THE 3RD DC OF NEXT 5DC CLUSTER, DC IN ALL THE REMAINING DC .
ROW 8-: CH2 ,DC IN ALL THE DC OF THE PREVIOUS ROW, JOIN TO THE 3RD DC BY SST.
SWITCH YARN TO PINK
ROW 9: CH 2, *(2DC, 1CH, 2DC) IN THE FIRST STITCH, SKIP 2 STITCHES, THEN (1DC,1CH,1DC) IN THE NEXT STITCH*, REPEAT * TO * TILL END, JOIN THROUGH SST.

MAKE NECK LINING BY REPEATING (SC, HDC, 3DC,HDC, SC) AROUND THE NECK.

    What size yarn and what size is this one? Is the stitch count less for infant and how small will this go? There's really not enough info regarding sizes and yarn and if the hook size is larger or smaller depending on the size.

      THIS PATTEN IS FOR 1 YEAR OLD , THE PINAPPLE PATTERN WILL REMAIN THE SAME BUT YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE TOP SIZE.

    3PLY YARN IS USED AND THIS SIZE IS FOR 2 YEARS BABY.
    FOR INFANTS YOU CAN CHECK MY OTHER PATTERNS . ADJUST THE TOP AND THE FROCK WILL AUTOMATICALLY FIT ITSELF

      After row 19 your row 20th will start from the bottom of the chart given below row 19 .

    In row 9 is there a skip stitch between the (1DC, 1CH, 1DC) and the beginning of the repeat pattern (2DC, 1CH, 2DC)?

      when you acquire the required size of shoulder for 3 months, then switch to the row 7, and continue the pattern accordingly. In this ways you may be have less number of pineapples in your frock
